Dwarka

An ancient city located on the western tip of the Saurashtra peninsula, Dwarka is one of Hinduism's four most sacred Pilgrimage sites (Char Dham). 

Dwarka is believed to be the kingdom of Lord Krishna, who moved here from Mathura. After his death, the ancient city was submerged by the Arabian Sea.

Key attraction:  The Main Temple is the Dwarkadhish Temple- 2,200-year-old architectural marvel with intricate carvings dedicated to Lord Krishna. Other sites include the Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, Dwarka Beach, and Beyt Dwarka island. 

Somnath

Situated in Prabhas Patan, this pilgrimage site is home to one of the most revered temples in India, also on the coast of the Arabian Sea. 

The Somnath Temple is considered the first of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, a manifestation of his eternal light. It has a legendary history of being destroyed and rebuilt multiple times, symbolizing resilience.

Architecture: The temple follows the Chalukya style of architecture, featuring intricate carvings. The current structure was reconstructed in 1951. 

Kevadia (Now Ekta Nagar)

A town in the Narmada district, Kevadia is primarily known for housing the world's tallest statue. 

Key attraction: The Statue of Unity, a colossal 182-meter-high statue honoring Indian statesman Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Modern development: The area has been developed into the "Kevadia Tourism Circuit," with attractions including the Sardar Sarovar Dam, Valley of Flowers, Jungle Safari, Cactus Garden, and a river cruise. 

Modhera

Located in the Mehsana district, this village is known for its impressive Solanki-era Sun Temple. 

Key attraction: The Sun Temple, built by King Bhimdev I in the 11th century, is renowned for its Maru-Gurjara architectural style and beautiful stone carvings. It features a large stepwell (Surya Kund) and a main temple hall.

Distinction: In 2022, Modhera was declared India's first 24x7 solar-powered village, with solar panels providing electricity for its homes and the Sun Temple's heritage lighting. 

Patan

An ancient fortified city in northern Gujarat, Patan served as the capital of Gujarat for over 650 years during the medieval Period. 

Key attraction: The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Rani-ki-Vav, or the Queen's Stepwell,Commissioned in the 11th century by Queen Udayamati, this intricately carved stepwell is a masterpiece of Maru-Gurjara architecture.

Cultural heritage: Patan is also famous for its traditional Patola weaving, a complex double-ikat technique that produces expensive and highly valued silk sarees. 

Ahmedabad

Gujarat's largest city and former state capital, Ahmedabad was founded in 1411 and is divided by the Sabarmati River. 

Historical significance: The city played a crucial role in India's independence movement, with Mahatma Gandhi establishing his ashram on the banks of the river. The walled old city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Modern hub: As a major industrial, financial, and educational center, Ahmedabad is a bustling metropolis that blends historic traditions with modern development. The city is known for its festivals, vibrant culture, and distinctive "Pols" or traditional housing clusters.

Detailed Itinerary:   

Day 01: Ahmedabad - Jamnagar - Dwarka (450 Kms / 9 Hrs)

Morning Arrival at Ahmedabad Airport / Railway Station later drive to Dwarka en-route Jamnagar visiting Bala Hanuman Temple and Lakota lake later continue drive to Dwarka.  On Arrival Check-in at Hotel. Overnight Stay at Hotel in Dwarka

Day 02: Dwarka and Bait Dwarka Sightseeing Tour 

Early Morning Attend Darshan Aarti at Dwarkadhish Temple later Back to Hotel for Breakfast later full day  Sightseeing Tour of Dwarka visiting Bait Dwarka , Sudama Bridge,Gopi Lake, Rukshmani Temple, Nageshwar Jyotirlinga. Evening free for leisure at Shivrajpur Beach and Gomti Ghat.Overnight Stay at Hotel in Dwarka.

Day 03: Dwarka - Porbandar - Somnath (250 Kms / 5 Hrs)

After Breakfast drive to Somnath en-route Porbandar visiting Sudama Temple, Mahatma Gandhi Birth Place and Geeta Mandir later continue drive to Somnath. On Arrival Sightseeing Tour of Somnath visiting Bhalka Teerth, Triveni Sangam and Pandav Caves later check-in at Hotel. Evening Visiting Somnath Temple and Light Sound Show at Somnath Temple (Cost not Included). Overnight Stay at Hotel in Somnath.

Day 04: Somnath -Vadodara (475 Kms / 8-9 Hrs)

After Breakfast drive to Vadodara. On Arrival Check-in at Hotel. Evening free for leisure at Hotel. Overnight Stay at Hotel in Vadodara.

Day 05: Vadodara  – Kevadida (100 Kms / 2 Hrs) – Ahmedabad (190 Kms / 4 Hrs)  

After Breakfast full Day Sightseeing Tour of Kevadia visiting Sardar Zoological Park, Pet Zone, Statue of Unity and Sardar Sarovar Dam. Evening drive Back to Ahmedabad. On Arrival check-in at Hotel. Overnight. Stay at Hotel in Ahmedabad.

Day 06: Ahmedabad - Modhera –Patan –Ahmedabad (150 Kms / 3 Hrs / One way) -Day Trip 

After Breakfast Proceed for Modhera Sun Temple, Modheswari Mata Temple, Surya Kund later proceed for Rani Ki Vav Patan. Evening drive Back to Ahmedabad. Overnight Stay at Hotel in Ahmedabad.

Day 07: Ahmdabad Sightseeing Tour - Departure 

After Breakfast full Day Sightseeing Tour of Ahmedabad visiting Sabarmati Ashram, Adalaj Step well, Iskon Temple, Akshardham Temple, River front and Atal Bridge .Evening On time departure Transfer to Railway Station / Airport for onwards Journey.
