TOUR ITINERARY:

Day 01: Chennai-Arrival

Arrival at Chennai Airport / Station. On arrival our local Representative will meet and assist you later Transfer to Hotel. After resting for a while, embark on a sightseeing tour of Chennai. The major tourist attractions in Chennai include the Fort St. George, St. Thomas Mount, San Thome Cathedral, Kapaleeswar Temple and the National Art Gallery.

In the evening visit the beautiful Marina. Don’t try swimming at Marina beach since there are strong currents present along the shoreline and no rescue equipment’s and lifeguards are available at this beach. Overnight Stay at Hotel.

Day 02: Chennai - Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram (70 Kms /02 Hrs)

After Breakfast Morning proceed for Mahabalipuram via. Kanchipuram. The major Kanchipuram tourist attractions include visits to the Kailasanthar Temple, Ekambareshwarar Temple, The Vardarajanperumal Temple and the Sakkiswarar Temple. Then resume with your drive to Mahabalipuram.

This 7th century former port city is famous for its rock-cut shore temples. On Arrival, Check-in at Hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight Stay at Hotel.

Day 03: Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry (95 Kms /02 Hrs)

After Breakfast Sightseeing Tour of Mahabalipuram.  The major attractions to visit include the Shore and the Five Ratha temples, Arjuna’s Penance and the Tiger caves. Afternoon Depart to Pondicherry. On arrival Check-in at Hotel. Evening free for Leisure walk at Local Market of Pondicherry. Overnight Stay at Hotel.

Day 04: Pondicherry - Swamimalai  (134 Kms /03 Hrs)

After Breakfast Morning Sightseeing Tour of Pondicherry, Pondicherry for its diverse attractions like the coastline of 32 Kms, palm-fringed beaches, backwaters and fishing villages Afternoon visiting Aurbindo Ashram and Auroville later Drive to Swamimalai. Stop midway to visit Chidambaram, and Gangaikonda Cholapuram. On arrival Check-in at Hotel. Evening visiting the Swamimalai Murugan Temple. Overnight Stay at Hotel.

Day 05: Swamimalai – Tanjore (35 Kms /01 Hrs)

After breakfast Drive to Tanjore. Tanjore is known as the city of temples as it has many famous temples in and around the city including the Navagraha temples. On Arrival Check-in at Hotel. Afternoon Half Day Sightseeing Tour of Tanjore visiting the major tourist destinations like the Vijayanagar Fort, Shiva Ganga Garden, Aalangudi temple, Brahadeshwara temple and the Chandra Bagawan Temple. Overnight Stay at Hotel.

Day 06: Tanjore –Madurai (190 Kms /03-04 Hrs) - Departure

After Breakfast Depart to Madurai. On arrival Departure Transfer to Airport / Station for onwards destination.
