OVERVIEW:

The 9-day tour of Ladakh will let you explore the magnificent landscapes of this unexplored Himalayan region. A land, which is famous for its culture, natural beauty and adventurous terrains, offers our travellers a whole new range of experience, which they rarely get in their stubborn city lives.

Our meticulously designed tour itinerary will acquaint you with Ladakh’s culture and tradition along with its adventurous topography. This includes frequent visits to the renowned Buddhist monasteries in the region, the exotic valleys and some highest passes of the world.     

TOUR ITINERARY:

Day 01: Leh

Arrival at Leh Airport on arrival our Local representative will meet and assist you later Transfer to Hotel. The first day would be free of any kind of excursion. Thus, it is up to you to stroll around the locales of Leh city or rest in your hotel rooms. Overnight Stay at Hotel.

Day 02: Leh

After Breakfast morning journey to the west of Leh. This side of the city is famous for the ancient Alchi Monastery, which offers splendid miniature paintings. Post the Alchi Monastery, visit the Magentic hill which displays an epic confluence of the river Indus and Zanskar. On the way back to your hotel, you can make a pitstop to visit the Military Hall of Fame. Overnight Stay at Hotel.

Day 03: Leh - Tsomoriri Lake (220 Kms / 6 Hrs)

After Breakfast The third day of our Ladakh tour with Pangong is dedicated to the natural beauty of the region. Early morning, start your journey to the picturesque Tsomoriri Lake. The lake is  situated at an altitude of 4200 m. From Leh, make your way diving right along the Indus river into the Rupshu valley. During the journey, you are likely to come across Chumathang hot springs and the Mahe bridge. On your arrival at Tsomoriri Lake, make a check in at the nearby camps. Later in the day, explore the wetland sanctuaries near the shore, which is a popular breeding ground for thousands of migratory birds including the Black Naked Cranes and Brahmini Duck. Overnight Stay at Hotel.

Day 04: Tsomoriri Lake - Tsokar Lake - Leh

After Breakfast, you would be embarked on a journey to the exotic Tsokar Lake. On your way, you can make frequent stoppages to visit the Puga Geo-thermal gas springs and the nomadic Rebo tents settled at the Polo-Kongka pass. There you can also visit the Monastery of Thukje village. Rest of the journey will make you cross the Tanglangla pass which is at a height of around 5300 metre. Journey ends at Stok in the evening. Overnight Stay at Hotel.

Day 05: Leh to Nubra Valley Via Khardungla Pass (140Km / 5 -6 Hrs)

After Breakfast Proceed to Nubra Valley via the World’s Highest Motorable road (5602 Mts) Khardungla, pass. Arrive Nubra Valley and proceed for a visit to the White Sand Dunes at Hunder. You can also enjoy a camel ride here (Camel ride on direct payment basis).

Thereafter, check in at a comfortable Camp. Evening at leisure. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Camp in Nubra.

Day 06: Nubra – Turtuk Valley – Nubra – Day Trip

In the Morning after breakfast Proceed to Turtuk, It was under Pakistan’s control until the 1971 Indo-Pak war where it came under Indian governance, recently opened for tourists. Turtuk offers much different landscape and cultural orientation than rest of the Nubra Valley. You can see apricot trees loaded around the entire village with views closer to Karakorum Range. Overnight at Nubra. 

Day 7: Nubra Valley to Pangong via Shayok

After Breakfast, Check out and visit Diskit Monastery. Post this proceed for journey to Pangong via Shayok.On arrival check in at your camp/cottage in Pangong. Later, explore Pangong Lake and spend some quality time at Lake. After this come back to camp/cottage. Dinner and overnight Stay at Camp / Cottage in Pangong.

Day 8: Pangong Lake to Leh via Changla Pass (approx. 140kms one way)

In the morning have breakfast at your camps in Pangong. Thereafter, proceed for your journey back to Leh via Changla Pass. Upon your arrival in Leh, check in to the hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Hotel in Leh.

Day 09: Leh -Departure 

After Breakfast, our tour representative will take you to Kushok Bakula airport to board the flight to onwards Journey. 

End of Tour.
